Thank you to our port community partners

3/24/2010 4:32:00 PM

As we reflect on the successful completion of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, we recognize the collective efforts that contributed to this extraordinary event.

We began our Olympic journey several years ago by supporting VANOC in its goal to host the Games. As the first port in Olympic Winter Games history to be named Official Supplier, we helped connect the Games to the world as thousands of accredited media worked from the Main Press Centre in our facility at Canada Place.

At the same time, we worked diligently to minimize any potential disruptions to your business. With your help, we ensured the seamless, reliable and secure transit of passengers and goods through our Gateway. Together we contributed to a historic event in our port cities and, hopefully, created some lasting legacies that will extend far beyond the Games. This accomplishment would not be possible without the support and commitment of our port community partners.

We take this opportunity to extend our sincere thanks. If you have a comment or question about our Olympic Planning Project, please contact us.
