Port hosts second stakeholder information session

On October 28, 2009, Port Metro Vancouver hosted an information session to discuss planning efforts around the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The session was the second in a series of Olympic-related sessions planned for port users, customers and stakeholders.

Following brief presentations, topics of interest were discussed, including security, marine operations and surface transportation.

Opening remarks were made by Graham Kee, Port Metro Vancouver’s Vice President of Olympic Operations. Other presentations included Port Metro Vancouver, the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Vancouver 2010 Integrated Security Unit, Translink and the Western Marine Community Coalition.
