Port hosts third stakeholder information session

On January 14, 2010, Port Metro Vancouver hosted the third and final information session for customers and commercial stakeholders regarding the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. Following a brief presentation, a panel convened to discuss topics of interest, including marine operations, security and access, traffic, movement of labour and terminal operations.

Opening remarks were made by Graham Kee, Port Metro Vancouver's Vice President of Olympic Operations. Panelists included, from Port Metro Vancouver, Curtis Cloutier, Senior Manager, Land Operations and Yoss Leclerc, Harbour Master, as well as Mike Leonard, Vice-President of Labour Relations with BCMEA, Andrea Manchon from VANOC, Dan Guilfoyle with the Vancouver 2010 Integrated Security Unit, Don Nonis, Director of Terminal Operations, TSI, Andy Dawes, Director of Operations, DP World, and Stephen Brown, Executive Director of the Western Marine Community Coalition. The discussions were moderated by Greg Wirtz, Manager, Trade Development for Port Metro Vancouver.
