Russian tall ships visits Port Metro Vancouver

The Russian tall ship Kruzenshtern arrived in Vancouver on February 9 to take in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games and to promote the Sochi 2014 Winter Games in Russia.

Docked in North Vancouver and accessible to the public, the Kruzenshtern is 115 metres long, 14 metres wide, 60 metres high, with a draft of 6.5 metres and a permanent crew of 70. The vessel is owned by the Russian Fishery and used as a navy training ship.
