• Can you provide driving directions to the cruise terminals?

• Which pier is my cruise departing from?

  The Port has two cruise ship terminals, Canada Place and Ballantyne, from which cruise ships will depart.  See Cruise Schedule to verify your departing terminal.

• How do I get from the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) to Canada Place Cruise Terminal or Ballantyne Terminal?

  Canada Place is located downtown at 999 Canada Place. Ballantyne is located at 851 Centennial Road, east of the city centre and close to Canada Place. The cost of a taxi cab is approximately $30.00 (Can). Travellers to Ballantyne have access to Ballantyne Cruise Terminal via Clark Drive or McGill Street Overpass only. There is no access to travellers via Victoria Drive and Heatley Avenue. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the cruise terminals from YVR. See Terminal Information for driving directions.

• Can I rent a car at the cruise terminals?

  Rental car kiosks are only available at Canada Place. There are no rental car kiosks at Ballantyne. Passengers need to pre-arrange pick-up or drop-off with the rental company in advance. See Transportation & Parking to learn more.

• Where can I park my vehicle?

  There is both short-term and long-term parking available. See Transportation & Parking to learn more.

• What type of transportation services are available to and from the cruise terminals?

• Is there a bus depot/train station near the terminals?

  Yes. Pacific Central Station is located at Main Street & Terminal Avenue. Contact the station at 604.640.3764 to learn more.

• Can I store my luggage at the cruise terminals?

  Short-term luggage storage is available at Canada Place terminal. See Passenger Information to learn more.

• Can I rent a scooter or wheelchair at the cruise terminals?

  Last minute scooter and wheelchair rentals are available at Canada Place. Prior arrangements for either terminals may also be made. See Passenger Information to learn more.

• Are there any foreign exchange services at the cruise terminals?

  There is a foreign exchange service located in the Pan Pacific Hotel Lobby at Canada Place, one floor above the cruise terminal. Other exchange services can be found throughout Downtown Vancouver. See Tourism Resources to learn more.

• What other passenger services are available at the cruise terminals?

  There is a food court in the lower level of Waterfront Centre Food court located in Waterfront Centre – adjacent to Canada Place. As well as Sightline Tours, M&M Cruise (binocular sales), Habano Cigars and snack/coffee service. At Ballantyne Terminal there is Streamers (snack bar), Sightline Tours, and M&M Cruise (binocular sales). Public pay phones are available. • Is there a Lost & Found office I can contact?

  You may contact the Canada Place security office at 604.665.9347. For items lost on the ship, you may contact the ship’s passenger agent.

• Do freighter cruises sail from Vancouver?

  Freighter cruises do not sail out of Vancouver.

• How do I deliver foods and other packages to the ships?

  You must contact the ship’s passenger agent to make those arrangements.

• I am interested in employment or business opportunities with the cruise lines. Who should I contact to get more information?
