Short-Term Parking Facilities
Both Canada Place and Ballantyne have plenty of short-term parking available for picking up and dropping off cruise passengers.
Long-Term Parking Facilities

Transportation
Air Transportation
The Vancouver International Airport (YVR), services more than 20 major international and regional air carriers. The city centre is approximately 30 minutes from the airport. Shuttles, taxis and limousines are readily available to transport passengers to the cruise ship terminals. See YVR to learn more.
Ground Transportation
Advanced transportation reservations are recommended when traveling from our cruise terminals to your final destination, in order to avoid potential delays on peak demand days. Canada Place and Ballantyne terminals are serviced by regular shuttles and buses to major destinations, as well as city taxis, car rental companies, limousines and public transit (Canada Place only).
Shuttle & Tours
Visit our ground transportation desks conveniently located at Canada Place and Ballantyne terminals to purchase shuttle or tour tickets. Regular shuttle service is provided from both terminals to the airport and Richmond hotels as well as downtown hotels. Regular bus service from Vancouver to Seattle's SeaTac airport and to Victoria is also available.
Car Rentals
Rental car kiosks are only available at Canada Place. They include: National. There are no rental car kiosks at Ballantyne. Passengers need to pre-arrange pick-up or drop-off with the rental company in advance.
Public Transport
Canada Place terminal is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, right by Waterfront station which is serviced by buses, the SeaBus (to North Vancouver), the West Coast Express commuter train and the SkyTrain. The Canada Line, SkyTrain's newest line, provides rapid transit directly to Vancouver International Airport.

Limousines
A limited number of limousines are available on-site. Please make arrangements directly with limousine companies for confirmed pick-up and drop-off. Contact a Traffic Attendant at Canada Place or Ballantyne for further assistance.
Taxi Service
All taxi vehicles serving Vancouver cruise ship terminals are six years old or newer, most of them hybrid, and drivers have completed comprehensive training courses in safe driving, customer service and assisting persons with special needs.
Our terminal signage reflects the following rates: taxis charge a metered rate based on time and distance travelled, the approximate fare to/from the airport is approximately $30 and (inclusive of all taxes) under normal conditions. Fares from Canada Place to hotels within 3-6 blocks can range from $5-$8 and from 7-13 blocks between $8-$12. The fares to downtown hotels from Ballantyne can range from $12-$15.
