  • Environmental Specialist - Air Emissions (maternity leave - 1 year term)

    The Environmental Specialist – Air Emissions is responsible for developing and delivering strategic initiatives in the air emissions area. This position will develop, incorporate and maintain policy initiatives, management practices, studies and research into a congruent strategically focused effort to manage air emissions associated with Port activities. In addition, the Specialist is responsible for participation in the CEAA assessment and other Environmental Impact Assessment work for projects that involve Port Metro Vancouver. These responsibilities will include communication with environmental regulatory agencies, community, First Nations and other stakeholders, including the participation in inter-agency committees or initiatives by Transport Canada, Environment Canada, GVRD, BIEAP and other groups.

  • Summer Employment: Traffic Attendant

    To direct vehicles, passengers and general access to and from cruise terminals, including customs and other restricted areas. Perform other duties with respect to the requirements of the passenger, cruise lines and other users of the cruise terminals.

  • Summer Employment: Community Relations Staff

    To assist with the Community Relations Program by providing Port presentations to educational institutions and community groups both within PMV’s Discovery Centre and externally; to conduct port, terminal and harbour tours for visitors and tourists; to be an ambassador for the Port at community events, to assist with training and provide ongoing support to high school students taking part in the Leadership Program, to provide clerical and host assistance at conferences, receptions and special events; and to perform clerical and other duties as assigned.

  • Manager, Trade Areas (3-year term)

    This newly created position will be responsible for leading the Port’s infrastructure development projects and initiatives within one or more Trade Areas.

  • Corporate Communications Specialist (Maternity Leave – 1 year term)

    Reporting to the Manager, Communications & Government Affairs, the Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for the research, development, writing, design, coordination and implementation of corporate and internal communications materials and websites in support of Port Metro Vancouver’s overall corporate objectives.

  • Communications Advisor, Project Communications (2 year term)

    We have a fantastic opportunity for a communications professional to play a key role on the Container Capacity Improvement Program (CCIP) Project Team.

  • Project Engineer

    Reporting to the Director of Engineering & Maintenance, the Project Engineer is responsible for providing senior technical expertise in the planning, design, construction and management of PMV’s facilities and infrastructure assets, as well as project engineering services for various capital, repair and maintenance projects and assigned programs.
