Community, Stakeholder and Public Consultation
Consultation for the Deltaport Terminal, Road and Rail Improvement Project began in October 2011 with a series of meetings with local governments, community, agricultural and business groups. In addition, as a preliminary part of the CEAA Screening Level Environmental Assessment, the public and stakeholders were invited to review and provide comments on a description of the project and scope of the environmental studies.
Port Metro Vancouver undertook public consultation for the Deltaport Terminal, Road and Rail Improvement Project between November 21, 2011 and January 6, 2012. Communities, stakeholders and the public were provided opportunities to learn about the project and provide input through a number of multi-stakeholder meetings, open houses and an online feedback form.
