Roberts Bank Open House
TSI Terminal Systems Inc., Westshore Terminals and Port Metro Vancouver invited friends and neighbours to tour the container and coal terminals at Roberts Bank to see what goes on at the Port's largest facilities.
Over 3000 people attended the event and had the opportunity to see the new berth at Deltaport and the Westshore Coal terminal in person.
The White Spot burger by donation rasied $3,740.00 and Port Metro Vancouver, TSI Terminal Systems Inc. and Westshore Coal Terminal each matched donations up to $2000.00 for a total of $9740.00. This money will be donated to two charities: Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society (O.W.L) and KidSport Delta.
Deltaport Third Berth Community Liaison Committee
The Deltaport Third Berth Project Community Liaison Committee (DCLC) consisted of individuals representing residents, community associations and businesses in Delta, as well as port stakeholder groups.
The purpose of the Committee was to work with the Port during the construction and first year operation of the third-berth at Deltaport to identify community concerns, develop potential solutions to address those concerns and assist in communicating information among the community, Port Metro Vancouver and other port stakeholders.
