Consultation, engagement and information sharing for the proposed project will take place in three phases:
Conceptual design January 31 - February 21, 2011 | A community consultation program was implemented to share project objectives and planning information, identify community interests, and obtain input and feedback to assist in developing and refining project designs.
Preliminary design April 4 - May 25, 2011 | Community engagement and information distribution activities were implemented to share updated project information, further identify community interests, and obtain input to assist in developing and refining project designs.
- Port Metro Vancouver and the City of North Vancouver undertook additional community engagement and information distribution activities as part of the Preliminary Design stage for the Proposed Low Level Road Improvement Project to further identify community interests, and obtain input to assist in developing and refining project designs.
Detailed design January - November 2012 | The Project was approved by the City of North Vancouver Council on June 18, 2012. Traffic management and construction phasing consultation occured in August.
