Port Mann Bridge Construction
In-river works for construction of the new Port Mann Bridge commenced on June 15, 2009. Works will be carried out in the general vicinity of the existing Port Mann Bridge in the Fraser River. The contractor conducting these works is Kiewit Flatiron General Partnership.
Construction of the Port Mann Bridge may require shipping zone closures. Notice of closures and alternate zones, as well as updated information, will be posted on a weekly basis on the Port Mann Bridge/Highway 1 Project website.
Pitt River Bridge Construction
Construction of the Pitt River Bridge and Mary Hill Interchange Project is in its final stages of completion, and is due to be complete in November, 2010. Works will be carried out in the general vicinity of the new bridge in the Pitt River. The contractor conducting these works is Kiewit Flatiron General Partnership.
For the next several months, shipping zone closures may be required. Notice of closures and updated information will be posted on the Gateway Program website.
